ProEduHub Reaches the University of Cambridge : The InfoCons – USVT Delegation Continues Its Educational Mission in the United Kingdom
The delegation composed of representatives of InfoCons and the „King Michael I” University of Life Sciences from Timișoara (USVT) is visiting several colleges of the University of Cambridge today, 14 July 2026. Cambridge is widely recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious higher education institutions.
The visit is taking place as part of the activities organized in the United Kingdom through the ProEduHub project and marks another important step in strengthening international academic dialogue, encouraging the exchange of best practices, and promoting the educational opportunities that Romanian universities offer to young Romanians living abroad.
ProEduHub is the first initiative launched by InfoCons dedicated to bringing young Romanians from the diaspora closer to Romania’s higher education system. The project aims to facilitate access to relevant information about Romanian universities, promote study and professional development opportunities, and build stronger connections between higher education institutions, Romanian communities abroad, and future students.
At a time when millions of Romanians live outside the country and many young people choose to pursue higher education abroad, ProEduHub seeks to provide a comprehensive perspective on the educational opportunities available in Romania while strengthening the connection between new generations and the Romanian academic community.
During today’s visit, the InfoCons – USVT delegation has the opportunity to explore several colleges of the University of Cambridge and gain first-hand insight into the academic environment that has shaped generations of researchers, scientists, leaders, and Nobel Prize laureates.
The visit also provides an opportunity to observe best practices in the organization of university life, the relationship between the colleges and the University, and the way tradition and innovation are successfully combined within an educational model recognized worldwide.
