Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, participated on 19 August 2026 in a working meeting with representatives of the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights (USIDHR), Mr. Manuel Oancia, President, and Dr. Isabelle Vladoiu, Founder. The meeting took place at the InfoCons headquarters.

The meeting provided an opportunity for dialogue on the importance of education, information, and awareness in the development of a responsible society, as well as on the role that civil society organizations can play in promoting and supporting fundamental rights, consumer rights, and access to education.

The discussions addressed topics of common interest concerning the education and information of citizens, the protection and promotion of rights, the development of skills needed in a constantly changing society, as well as the importance of cooperation at national and international levels in developing initiatives with an impact on young people and the general public.

At the same time, opportunities for cooperation between InfoCons and the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights were explored, with a view to developing and promoting joint initiatives in areas such as education, consumer rights, fundamental rights, information and awareness, as well as the use of modern educational tools and resources.
