On July 29, 2024,  the Southeast European Law Enforcement Center (SELEC) and InfoCons – European Organization for Consumer Protection, have joined efforts in combating infringements of intellectual property rights

The Letter of Intent between the two institutions was signed on July 29, 2024, by the Director General of the Southeast European Law Enforcement Center (SELEC), Dr. Oğuz Serkant Akın, and the President of InfoCons , Mr. Sorin Mierlea .
