Sorin Mierlea , President of InfoCons Consumer Protection , participates as a speaker at the European Conference of Financial Services ECFS 2026

Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is participating on March 19–20, 2026, in the European Conference of Financial Services ECFS 2026, as a speaker.

The 10th edition of this conference is organized by the Institute for Financial Studies, in partnership with the Financial Supervisory Authority, in Brașov. The theme of this edition is “Financial education and the maturation of financial markets adapted to the OECD accession criteria.”

Mr. Sorin Mierlea is a speaker within the section dedicated to consumer protection and alternative dispute resolution. The panel includes a debate on consumer protection mechanisms and the role of alternative dispute resolution in strengthening trust in non-banking financial markets.

The discussions will address the applicable legislative and institutional framework, the efficiency of amicable dispute resolution procedures, the level of consumer information and financial education, as well as the challenges generated by digitalization and the diversification of financial products.
