Meeting between Sorin Mierlea , President of InfoCons Consumer Protection , and His Excellency Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra , Ambassador of India to Romania

Today, September 26, 2025, a meeting took place between Mr. Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, and His Excellency Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Ambassador of India to Romania. The meeting was held at the Embassy of India in Romania.

The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen cooperation with the Embassy of India in Romania, in order to ensure better information both for Indian citizens residing in Romania and for Romanian citizens traveling to India. In addition, an important point of the discussions was how to provide support in key consumer-related areas, such as consumer protection, intellectual property rights, and the correct labeling of products imported from abroad.
