On December 6, 2024, Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is participating in the online webinar organized by ANEC – The European consumer voice in standardisation, on the online platform Zoom. The online event will focus on the topic of a common charger for mobile phones and other electronic devices.

Since 2009, ANEC and consumer advocacy groups have actively pushed for mandatory common chargers. With the updated Radio Equipment Directive, this initiative is now on the verge of becoming a reality.
