On July 17 , 2024 , Sorin Mierlea , the President of InfoCons , is participating in the members’ meeting organized by Consumers International on the Zoom online platform. This meeting is centered around opportunities for consumer organizations to influence national and global policy regarding food .

During this Consumers International member event , the participants will explore opportunities for members to engage with key global decision-making forums, including the Conference of the Parties (COP), the Group-20 (G20), and Codex Alimentarius .
